Is US Fidelis a scam?: Yes
I worked there and I am really starting to wonder if people really know what the word SCAM means. Of course this company is not a scam, they are just offereing a product and service in a misleading way that in a lot of cases leaves people feeling angry and ripped off. These warranties are so limited and hard to follow every little rule that it makes it sometimes very difficult to get a claim paid. Most people who worked there did not buy the warranty. These companies are very greedy and do whatever it takes to get the sale even it means keeping an 80 yr old lady on the phone for an hour and a half trying to sell a warranty for $2000 dollars on a car thats worth $800

Is US Fidelis a scam?: Yes
US Fidelis is a scam. I purchased a policy for my 1999 GMC Suburban and was ripped off. I purchased the policy in June. The policy said we could not make any claims for 60 days. Then in November my husband had our transfer case checked out while we had the vehicle in for an oil change. We seemed to have a problem when we put it into four-wheel-drive. The mechanic found a problem with the transfercase. We, of course, immediately put in for a claim, but low and behold the company would not honor the policy because they said we did not have enought oil change receipts. They wanted four receipts, mind you we just purchased the policy in June. We had three receipts with us, but as we work over the road, we could not find one. They would not work with us at all. We decided that since we were not getting what we paid for we were going to cancel the policy. We were told to return our policy notarized and with cancel written across it. We followed the directions and waited for the past several weeks to get our money back. Then when checking my bank account online today I found an $18 refund from US Fidelis. As we paid over $400 to the company we were surprised and angry. We called the company and were told the $18 was all we were entitled to receive back because they prorated the refund based on our mileage. If the company did not honor the policy, never paid a dime towards any repairs, how are they entitled to any money at all? Obviously they were not at risk of honoring the policy because they never expected to have to pay out on a claim.
It is important to note that we were never informed that any refund would be prorated. This company is deceitful and dishonest. STAY AWAY FROM US FIDELIS!!!!!

I worked there and quit because I found out that it was a total scam. If you want to get a feel as to how it is, then rent the movie, Boiler Room and you will get the clear picture. Stay Away, they claim to be big time Christians and even have a church in there facility. Look on stltoday.com and type in usfidelis and see the owners mansion.

I should of read this b4 I paid $3,700.00 to cover my 2003 Dodge Ram. I took it in for an electrical problem, they said that itwas a sensor, and that it was not covered. Water leak from the xcanister, is not covered either. Now I found out that transmission is not covered either, you have to pay first for a service.
